They say time heals all wounds. But they also say that nothing can escape time. The amount of contradictions in it is outstanding but it is also really hard to spot.
One of the best examples of time's numerous contradictions is through watching the Yogscast.

For example, personally if I am feeling sad about something, I watch the Yogscast, and I feel better. So to that extent time does heal. But in complete contradition to this I go and watch Yogscast, and before I know it, it is 3AM and I havent done any of my coursework. So time is destroying me through the medium of Yogscast.

But that is a more personal view. Examples of this can be found in the video's themselves.

For example Minecraft. Or to be more specific their Skyblock series. They started off with a small block with a tree, a empty computer, and an autonomous activator. And while progress may be slow, over time, they have created a veritable paradise. A lush green meadow, floating above the empty void of space. A restaurant, with good food, and a friendly atmosphere. But also a technological haven, with a full computer, a lava power plant, multiple furnaces, and all the machines a tech-mad lunatic could want.
Time has healed the destroyed world, so now these 3 intrepid adventures can live.

But again there are contrasts. An example could be found in the Civ V games.

A group of rulers lead there small group of adventurers and found a small city. And before you know it they have an empire. They are discovering new technologies. They are forging a new path for themselves.
But as always, it never ends well. They find new empires, with better technologies, and different views, and different religions. And over time, they grow bitter with each other. And this progresses and builds until they can no longer take it. War is declared.
Armies march across lands, and navies plough through the ocean waves. Cities are captured, and fall into obscurity. Cities are bombarded with advanced weapons. And whole islands are taken from an idealic living, and thrust into bloody wars which consume them.
As time Passes, empires crumble and fade. Time destroys them.

So time itself is both a healer, bringing new life, and new ideas. But time also takes everything in the end. Destroying empires and fading people into obscurity...
I really need to get more sleep

But as always, Enjoy :D
